One Pot Homestyle Meatballs

Master this legendary family favourite with McCORMICK One Pot Homestyle Meatballs. Created for the ease of one pot cooking, meatballs are cooked to perfection in a rich tomato & parmesan sauce with hearty oregano, basil and parsley.

Just Add

500 g beef mince
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 carrot, grated
1 egg
1 tbsp oil
400 g can tomatoes, diced
40 g One Pot Homestyle Meatballs
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup tomato paste

Stove Top Directions

Mix together mince, breadcrumbs, carrot and the egg then roll mixture into small meatballs.
Heat oil in a large heavy-based pot or saucepan and brown meatballs.
Add tomatoes, McCORMICK One Pot recipe base, water and tomato paste, stir gently and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
Serve meatballs with pasta.

Be Creative

* Instead of making meatballs make hamburger patties and cook in a fry pan. Remove and set aside to keep warm. In same pan make sauce. Add tomatoes, McCORMICK OnePot recipe base, water and tomato paste and bring to simmer and stir regularly. Serve hamburgers with sauce.

* For a quick Bolognese sauce; heat oil in a large saucepan and brown 1 finely chopped onion with mince, carrots, diced tomatoes, McCORMICK OnePot recipe base, water and tomato paste. Bring sauce to boil, stirring constantly. Use sauce over pasta or make lasagne.
