Osso Bucco

Slow Cookers Osso Bucco

Round up the whole neighbourhood with this fall-apart classic made easy with McCORMICK Slow Cookers Osso Bucco. Featuring a full bodied blend of rosemary, sage, beef and tomato, osso bucco simmers away to slow cooked perfection in a traditional rich and bold gravy. Serve over rice or mash.

Just Add

  • 1 kg beef Osso Bucco
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 carrot, finely diced
  • 1 celery stick, finely diced
  • 1 x 40 g Slow Cookers Osso Bucco
  • 400 g can tomatoes, diced
  • FOR THE GREMOLATA
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon rind, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped

Slow Cooker Directions

  1. Panfry the Osso Bucco beef then add into slow cooker insert pot.
  2. In the same pan, fry the onion, carrot and celery until soft and also add to the slow cooker insert pot.
  3. Mix McCORMICK Slow Cookers recipe base with tomatoes and pour over the Osso Bucco beef and stir through.
  4. Cover and cook for 4 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW (Keep covered during cooking. Cooking times may vary between slow cooker models).
  5. Mix together parsley, lemon rind and garlic (this makes gremolata).
  6. Serve Osso Bucco sprinkled with gremolata.

Add some sliced mushrooms and pan-fry with the vegetables.
