Beef Casserole


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 500 g lean beef, 2cm dice
  • 1 brown onion, peeled and diced
  • 1 x 27g sachet recipe base
  • 2 cups (300g) mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste


  1. 1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat and brown beef.
  2. 2. Add the McCormick Beef Casserole recipe base and all remaining ingredients and 1 cup (250ml) water and stir.
  3. 3. Cover and reduce heat, simmer for 40 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.
  4. 4. Serve with mashed potato and top with fresh parsley.
  5. TRY THIS RECIPE IN OVEN: Brown beef and place into oven proof dish with all ingredients and cook in a preheated oven 180ÂșC for 40 minutes or until meat and vegetables are tender.
