Chunky Beef Stroganoff

Chunky Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 kg large cubed beef (chuck, blade, etc.)
  • 2 onions, peeled and sliced thickly
  • 40 g Slow Cookers Chunky Beef Stroganoff
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 200 g button mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley

Method

  1. Brown beef and onion then add into slow cooker insert pot.
  2. Mix McCORMICK Slow Cookers recipe base with diced tomatoes and pour over beef and onion, add mushrooms and stir through.
  3. Cover and cook for 4 - 6 hours on HIGH or 8 hours on LOW (Keep covered during cooking. Cooking times may vary between slow cooker models).
  4. Stir through light sour cream and some fresh chopped parsley to serve.

    This recipe is divine, honestly Slow Cookers Chunky Beef Stroganoff is my favourite recipe base ever. This dish takes a cheap cut of beef and turns it into something really special. The gorgeous aroma of it cooking nearly drives me insane with the delicious scents wafting through the house during the day, and it guarantees everyone is really looking forward to dinner. We all love it and it is definitely a staple recipe in our house :)
