Creamy Mustard Sausage Hotpot

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken sausages cut in half
  • 4 onions, peeled and thickly sliced
  • 4 stalks celery, roughly chopped
  • 40 g Slow Cookers Country Chicken Casserole
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp seeded mustard
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Method

  1. Brown chicken sausages and onions then add into the slow cooker insert pot with celery.
  2. Mix McCORMICK Slow Cookers Country Chicken Casserole recipe base with water and pour over the chicken and vegetables, stir through.
  3. Cover and cook for 2 hours on HIGH. (Keep covered during cooking. Cooking times may vary between Slow Cooker models). Stir through the seeded mustard, cream and parsley and serve with creamy mashed potato.

    Tried this one recently, very tasty, would just add more liquid next time to have some sauce to go with the mashed potato!
