Simply Seafood Tempura Batter is an authentic Japanese blend that allows you to create Tempura seafood or vegetables quickly and easily at home. Use any combination of prawns, fish, cauliflower, broccoli, capsicum or eggplant.

Preparation
One packet of Tempura Batter Mix will coat up to 2kg of your favourite seafood. For best results, cut fish and vegetables into serving size pieces before coating with batter. Shell and devein prawns. If using frozen fish, thaw completely and dry thoroughly with paper towel before coating with batter.

Directions
1. Combine ice cold water with Tempura Batter Mix in a shallow bowl, stir until smooth.
2. Dip seafood or vegetables into batter, shake off excess.
3. Fry in hot (220°C) vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Turn once to brown evenly. Remove and drain.
