Tempura Vegetables and Goujons

Ingredients

2 zucchini, sliced
½ small butternut pumpkin, thinly sliced and cut into wedges
1 red capsicum, sliced
1 bunch broccolini, trimmed
200g Seafood salad flakes
1 ¼ cups McCORMICK Simply Seafood Tempura Batter Mix
250ml cold water
Oil for deep frying
McCORMICK Simply Seafood Tartare Sauce, McCORMICK Simply Seafood Cocktail Sauce to serve

Direction

1.Rinse all of the vegetables and seafood flakes, then place onto paper towel to dry.
2.Combine the McCormick Simply Seafood Tempura Batter Mix and cold water to form a runny batter.
3.Dip the vegetables and seafood flakes into batter, shake off the excess then deep fry in hot (220ºC) oil for 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown.
4.Remove and drain, then serve hot with one of the sauces.

Hints

Seafood salad flakes can be substituted with any white fleshed fish fillets, sliced thinly.
