  1. In a medium saucepan, place carrot juice, rice, salt, McCormick Turmeric and Onion Powder. Season well with McCormick Black Pepper bring to the boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed by the rice. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. To make jack o’ lanterns; using wet hands, roll small golf ball sized balls out of rice, pressing firmly, and decorate lanterns, pressing cut olives into rice balls to form eyes, mouths and a stalk.
Recipe Tip

Add 1 cup grated tasty or Parmesan cheese to hot cooked rice for extra flavour. These rice balls can make an elegant and tasty finger food; simply roll balls in panko crumbs and shallow fry till golden serve with a herb flavoured mayonnaise dipping sauce.
