Combine beer (or soda water) with Beer Batter Mix in a shallow bowl, stir until smooth.
Dip fish into batter, shake off excess.
Fry a few pieces at a time in hot (220°C) vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Turn once to brown evenly. Remove and drain.
Use McCormick Beer Batter Mix to coat vegetables such as onion rings, potatoes or pumpkin. Cut them into even sized pieces (1cm thick or less), so that they cook through when frying.
