Ingredients
  • Hot ‘n’ Sticky Sauce
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) store bought ‘hot’ sauce*
  • 1/3 cup (110 g) honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp (40 g) unsalted butter
  • Southern Style Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 x 95g sachet McCormick Air Fryer Southern Style Crunchy Coating
  • 1 x egg
  • 2 tbsp (40 mL) vegetable oil
  • To serve
  • 4 x Belgian waffles, store bought or homemade
  • corn on the cob, cooked
  • butter, cubed
Directions
  1. 1. Combine hot sauce and honey in a small saucepan, cook over MEDIUM heat until simmering. Whisk in butter until the butter is incorporated and sauce smooth and glossy. Reduce heat to very LOW until ready to serve.

    2. Prepare chicken fillets as per McCormick Air Fryer Southern Style packet directions. Air fry at 180˚C for 12 minutes or until cooked through, turning halfway through cook time. Re-spray with oil if needed.

    3. Heat Waffles as per packet instructions and serve the air fried chicken on top of the waffles, Then drizzle generously with hot 'n' sticky sauce and serve with hot, buttered corn on the cob.
