- Combine all ingredients, except the skewers and shallot, in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Just before cooking, soak the skewers in cold water for several minutes.
- Skewer the beef pieces alternating with the shallot.
- Heat oil on a medium BBQ plate until hot.
- Cook the skewers, rotating regularly for 5 minutes. Pour over any cooking juices.
