Ingredients
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan forced). Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together sifted flour, cocoa powder, salt and McCormick Spices. In a separate bowl, using electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and flour mixture to the creamed butter and mix at medium speed until dough forms.
  3. Scrape dough out of bowl, onto a baking paper-lined board. Roll dough out to 1 cm thickness (about 30cm x 10cm rectangle).
  4. Draw a football shape onto paper and cut out, making a stencil. Cut out footy biscuits from dough using football shape stencil.
  5. Place shapes on the prepared baking tray a few cm apart and bake for 20- 25 minutes or until the biscuits are firm. Allow to cool on baking tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
  6. Once biscuits are cold, decorate using white writing icing to draw laces on footballs.
Recipe Tip

Don’t be limited by footballs, use the biscuit dough and cut out other shapes and decorate to suit. The only limitation is your imagination.
