Crunchy Ginger & Clove ANZAC Biscuits
1 cup plain flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup brown sugar
McCormick Ginger Ground
125 g butter
2 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp water
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Preheat oven to 160°C. Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
Combine flour, oats, coconut, sugar, McCormick ginger and cloves in a large bowl.
Melt butter, syrup, water and soda together in a small saucepan over low heat and add to coat mixture, stirring until well combined.
Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls and place onto prepared trays. Flatten until about 2cm thick and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
Cool on trays and then transfer to serving plate or container.
