Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 500 g beef or veal minute steaks
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 red onion, peeled and thickly sliced
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 200 ml cream
  • 8 g Recipe Creations Beef Scallopine with Mushrooms
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic granules
  • 1 tsp Sage leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Rosemary leaves
  • 1 tsp Thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp Oregano leaves
  • To Serve
  • Steamed baby potatoes and beans
Directions
  1. Combine flour, Paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add beef and coat in seasoned flour and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium – high heat and brown beef for 1 minute each side. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Add red onion and mushrooms to pan and cook 3-4 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water, Garlic, remaining herbs, cream and stir gently.
  4. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
  5. Return beef to the pan and warm through with the sauce.
  6. Serve with boiled baby potatoes and steamed beans.
