Ingredients
  • 200 ml soda water
  • 1 x 160 g sachet McCormick Beer Batter
  • 500 g boneless white fish pieces
  • oil for deep frying
Directions
  1. Heat oil in deep fryer to 180°C.
  2. Combine beer or soda water with McCormick Beer Batter Mix in a shallow bowl and whisk until smooth.
  3. Dip fish pieces into batter and shake off excess.
  4. Deep fry a few fish pieces at a time for 4-5 minutes, turning fish until cooked and golden.
  5. Remove fish pieces and drain on paper towel.
Recipe Tip

Perfect served with hot chips and lemon wedges.
