Cooking Time

Ingredients
  • 1 x 25g sachet McCormick Greek Style Street Food
  • 2 x chicken breasts, butterflied & flattened
  • 1 tbsp (20 mL) oil
  • ⅔ cup (180 g) Greek style yogurt
  • 1 x Lebanese cucumber, seeds removed, coarsley grated
  • 1 x small garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tsp dried mint leaves
  • 4 x flat breads
  • 4 handfuls shredded lettuce
  • ¼ red onion, sliced
  • 2 x tomatoes, sliced
  • 100 g feta, crumbled
  • To serve
  • hot fries
Directions
  1. Season chicken breast on both sides with the street food seasoning. Preheat the oil in a large frying pan add the chicken and brown turning once. Transfer chicken to a chopping board, cut into strips and then return chicken to pan, tossing through the juices to heat through.
  2. Meanwhile make the tzatziki sauce by squeezing any excess liquid from the cucumber and combining with the yogurt, garlic, and mint. Set aside.
  3. Heat the wraps in the microwave oven (see tip) or under the grill then spread with the tzatziki, load equally with the lettuce, onion and tomato and layer the chicken on top.
  4. Sprinkle over the feta to finish, tightly roll the wrap and enjoy your very own Greek meal with a serve of crispy fries.
Recipe Tip

To heat your gyros wraps quickly, dampen a sheet of paper towel and place it over a microwave-safe plate or shallow dish.
Transfer the wraps onto the lined plate and microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds.
Try not to overheat as the wraps will dry out. You are aiming to get the wraps warmed through but still soft and flexible. Like all food that is microwaved, allow to rest for a minute before building your gyros.
