Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 3/10 kg leg of lamb (boneless), trimmed of fat, string removed
  • 1 x 40 g sachet McCormick Slow Cookers Greek Lamb Recipe Base
  • 1 kg chat potatoes
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • Suggested sides: green beans or salad
Directions
  1. Heat vegetable oil in frying pan over MED-HIGH heat. Brown leg of lamb then add into slow cooker insert pot.
  2. Mix McCormick Slow Cookers Greek Lamb Recipe Base with 1 tablespoon of water and spread over the lamb. Arrange potatoes around lamb.
  3. Cover and cook for 6 hours on HIGH or 10 hours on LOW (Keep covered during cooking. Cooking times may vary between slow cooker models).
  4. Serve lamb, using two forks to pull the meat apart. Add lemon juice and oregano to taste and serve with your choice of suggested sides.
Recipe Tip

Create homemade souvlaki by filling pitas with any remaining lamb, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato and tzatziki.
