Ingredients
  • Burgers Patties
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon McCormick Grill Mates Cracked Pepper & Garlic Seasoning
  • Burger
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 onion, sliced into thick rings **
  • 4 pineapple rings, patted dry **
  • 4 slices of tinned beetroot
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves, washed and patted dry
  • Tomato sauce
  • French’s Mustard
  • 4 hamburger buns
Directions
  1. Preheat your grill to a medium heat.
  2. Fry your bacon in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the bacon from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
  3. Crack the four eggs into the hot bacon grease and fry the eggs until the whites are cooked, but the yolks are still jiggly, 2-3 minutes. Remove the fried eggs from the pan.
  4. Meanwhile, separate beef into four portions. Gently form into patties that are 1/2-inch wider than your bun. Press a dimple into the centre of each patty. Season patties on both sides with Butcher Seasoning.
  5. Place on grill over medium-high heat. Grill 6 to 8 minutes (or until cooked), flipping occasionally and topping with cheese during last few minutes of cooking. Remove from grill when cheese is melty and burger is cooked to your preference.
  6. Assemble your Burger: Add tomato and mustard sauce to bottom half of bun. Add your lettuce and then a thick slice of tomato and sprinkle with Butcher Seasoning before layering with pineapple, beets, onion, the burger patty bacon and finally the fried egg. Un-hinge your jaw and get ready to enjoy this epic tower of a burger!
Recipe Tip

** If you like, you can grill your onions and pineapple rings. — Take a toothpick and push it through the side of the onion slices to hold the rings together on the grill. Brush the onion slices and pineapple rings with a little olive oil and grill until you get nice grill marks.
