Ingredients
  • 3 medium russet potatoes, washed and peeled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Cut potatoes into 1/4-inch thick strips. Place potatoes in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Allow to soak for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain potatoes and rinse well with cold water. Pat dry and place potatoes in a large bowl. Add oil and OLD BAY and toss to coat well. Arrange fries in a single layer on a shallow baking tray line with baking paper.
  3. Bake for 40 minutes. Turn fries and increase oven temperature to 230°C. Bake 10 minutes longer or until golden brown. Sprinkle with additional OLD BAY before serving, if desired. Enjoy with your favourite dipping sauce.
Recipe Tip

Alternatively, replace potatoes with 450g of frozen french fries. Cook fries according to packet instructions or until golden brown. Once cooked, add to a large bowl and sprinkle with Old Bay Seasoning. Toss to coat well. Enjoy with your favourite dipping sauce. *Please note that this method will not produce the same amount of calories*
